The results of this study showed that the level of FcεRIα in the serum of patients with SLE was significantly higher than that in healthy controls (p = .000), however, FcεRIα is the result of over‐transcription of DNA encoding FcεRIα during cell activation induced by FcεRI cross‐linking on the surface of mast cells.15 The gene discussed is FCER1A; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
