This analysis identified a nine-protein set comprised of ANG, IGFBP3, SERPINA5, CCL11, CXCL11, CXCL9, HGF, SLAMF1, and STAMBP that in addition to clinical/demographic variables was able to predict cirrhosis development with 79% accuracy in a cross-validation model.
