Gal − 3 > 10 ng/ml (OR = 2.25; 95% CI, 1.88–5.66; p = 0.01) and NT − pro − BNP > 80 pg/ml (OR = 2.64; 95% CI, 1.56–4.44; p = 0.001) were associated with increased risk of HF incidence. Here, NPPB is linked to hydrops fetalis.
