The models of analyses were as followed: model 1: age, gender, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, smoking, diabetes, and BMI; model 2: model 1, SBP, DBP, FBG, HbA1C, HDL-C, and TG; model 3: model 2, CR, UA, hs-CRP, BNP, WBC, and homocysteine. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and familial hypercholesterolemia.
