Notably, it has been found that lncRNA UCA1 can promote AML cell proliferation by inducing autophagy, and lncRNA UCA1 could act as a sponge for binding miR-96–5p, thereby indirect inhibiting the targeting of ATG7, which could help us to understand further the molecular mechanism mediated by lncRNA UCA1 responsible for the induction of autophagy in AML (Li J. et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
