Although these two isoforms are equally expressed in ACT1D10N/D10 fibroblasts, ACT1D10N/D10 T cell expressed predominantly ACT-D10N, leading to a dysregulated hyperactive TH17 response with elevated IL-17A and IL-22 expression in ACT1D10N/D10 T cells and consequently severe psoriasis (165).
