Next, we demonstrated that ferroptosis as the predominant method contributed to erianin-induced cell death of bladder cancer both in vitro and in vivo, which was confirmed by accompanied with ROS accumulation, GSH depletion, lipid peroxidation and downregulation of FTH1, GPX4, HO-1, GLS and xCT/SLC7A11. This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A11 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
