After stratifying HCC samples into MRPS31_high (n = 93) and MRPS31_low (n = 93; > upper and < lower quartile, respectively), we performed Kaplan-Meier (KM) survival analysis and found that the MRPS31_low group had significantly shorter overall survival (Fig. 2B), implying a potential contribution of MRPS31 loss to the clinical outcome of HCC. This evidence concerns the gene MRPS31 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
