Based on comparative analysis of the transcriptome of these models with the corresponding human disease, Lee et al. [76] proposed that MYC, E2F-1, and double MYC/E2F-1 transgenic mice had similar global gene expression to a group of human HCCs with better survival, whereas MYC/TGF-α transgenic mice reflected a poorer survival HCC group.
