To overcome the limitations associated with the complexity of the required technology, the high costs, and the limited availability of this technology worldwide, we conducted gene expression analysis using a four-gene panel typically related to luminal (GATA3+/KRT20+) or basal (KRT5+/KRT14+) based on NanoString technology and nCounter analysis in a series of 91 bladder cancer cases. The gene discussed is GATA3; the disease is urinary bladder cancer.
