Accordingly, we observed increased expression of IFNG-related genes in the CD8HIGH HPV+ subset, e.g., CCL5, CXCL9/13, CXCR6, and HLA-DRA, which contribute to a pan-cancer signature suggested to predict an optimum response to anti-PD1 immune checkpoint-therapy [36].
