The study of the immune cell infiltration by confocal microscopy showed that the mean fluorescence intensities of immunostaining for CD45 (Figure 2c), F4/80 (Figure 2d) and Ly6G (Figure 2e) were decreased in both NF and HF arteries of WT BMC in TSP-1−/− compared to TSP-1−/− BMC in WT, meaning that tissue-secreted TSP-1 is important for proper immune cell infiltration. This evidence concerns the gene PTPRC and hydrops fetalis.
