IL-15/IL-15Rα-treated UUO-kidneys presented a 22% (p < 0.05) and 40% reduction (p < 0.01, n = 7 per group) in collagen accumulation (6.48 ± 0.60% of fibrosis area) compared with IL-15-treated mice (8.3 ± 0.73% of fibrosis area) and vehicle-treated mice (10.71 ± 1.13% of fibrosis area), respectively (Figure 3A).
