The anti-inflammatory properties and tissue regeneration properties of ezrin peptides have been applied to the treatment of ulcers of the gut, from oral ulcers, to stomach and duodenal ulcers, to lower gut ulceration associated with inflammatory bowel disease, trophic ulcers of the skin and radiation ulcers [39,40,41,42,43,44,45]. This evidence concerns the gene EZR and inflammatory bowel disease.
