The well-known specific gene translocations in ARMS are the t(1;13 (p36;q15), which results in the PAX3/FOXO1 fused genes, as well as the t(2;13)(q35;q14) translocation, that generates the PAX7/FOXO1 fusion [25,51]. Here, PAX7 is linked to alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.
