In detail, we confirmed proteins associated with endocytosis, spliceosome, thermogenesis, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, oxidative phosphorylation, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, Parkinson’s disease, proteoglycans in cancer, tight junction, regulation of actin skeleton, mRNA surveillance pathway, antigen processing and presentation, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, cell signaling, RNA transport and of course the lysosome as dysregulated in AGAL-deficient podocytes. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
