In the subgroup of women with Hb values = of 10–10.9 who did not take iron, 95% reached six weeks without iron deficiency and 91% without anemia, although they had a higher probability of iron deficiency (OR = 2.4 (CI 0.6–10.8), p = 0.22) and anemia (OR = 4 (CI 1.2–13.9), p = 0.01)) than women who took iron with the same Hb values.
