EIF5A2 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: The expression level of EIF5A2 is related to poor survival in ESCC patients treated with Taxol after esophagectomy, and the expression levels of multiple transporter genes related to drug resistance were found to be increased in cells overexpressing EIF5A2, suggesting that EIF5A2 overexpression could induce CSC‐specific actions that enhance the chemoresistance of ESCC cells.214
