The experimental results showed that, compared with the blank control group, the expression of p-Akt and p-mTOR proteins related to the Akt-mTOR signaling pathway was significantly downregulated by patchouli alcohol in a dose-dependent manner (Figures 6(a) and 6(b)), while AMPK and MAPK signaling pathways-associated key proteins p-AMPKα and p-p38-MAPK did not change significantly (Figures 6(a) and 6(b)), suggesting that patchouli alcohol-induced NSCLC autophagy may be related to the regulation of Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
