APLN and gout: The KEGG pathway analysis showed the circRNAs more highly expressed in the gout group than those in the HC group mainly involved “mitophagy,” “ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis,” and the “FoxO signaling pathway” (Supplementary Material S2C; top 10 pathways), whereas circRNAs with lower expression levels in the gout group were significantly involved in “platelet activation,” the “apelin signaling pathway,” and the “cGMP-PKG signaling pathway” (Supplementary Material S2D; top 10 pathways).
