Nevertheless, the study presented here provides constructive information indicating in vitro LPS-treated microglia and HFD-fed obese mice as the experimental platform to compare the effect of TFP with that of the other potential D2R drugs not only on anti-obesity-associated peripheral and hypothalamic inflammation but also on anti-obesity-induced metabolic dysfunction. This evidence concerns the gene DRD2 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
