Another recurrent lesion in DLBCL is an 11q24.3 gain, observed in up to one quarter of cases resulting in deregulation of ETS1 (ETS Proto-Oncogene 1) and FLI1 (Friend Leukemia Insertion 1), two ETS family transcription factors that contribute to DLBCL pathogenesis [7, 8]. Here, ETS1 is linked to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
