TNFAIP3 and COVID-19: Fractions containing small molecular weight constituents such as prodelphinidins of low polymerization degree, benzopyranones, and purine derivatives showed more pronounced immunomodulatory activity on pro-inflammatory IL1B and anti-inflammatory TNFAIP3. Importantly, the secretion of multiple cytokines and growth factors associated with critical COVID-19 progression was dampened by EPs 7630 in SARS-CoV-2-infected human lung cells.
