Regarding HCC cell levels, TGFB1 was a potent growth inhibitor and induces apoptosis in these cells, so it is regarded as a tumor-suppressive cytokine (Senturk et al., 2010).Therefore, further studies are needed to validate and establish the specific molecular mechanisms by which curcumin regulates HCC cells. Here, TGFB1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
