In the current study, both anti-vinculin and anti-CdtB demonstrated significantly elevated levels in IBS patients when compared to the control subjects, a finding that mirrors those from a previous study by Talley et al.23 However, data reported by Rezaie et al.16 depicts significant elevation in levels of both biomarkers only in IBS-M and IBS-D, but not IBS-C.
