Enhancer of Zeste homologue 2 (EZH2) has been shown to recruit DNMT1 to methylate the CpG island of the miR-484 promoter, which negatively regulates the Wnt/MAPK and TNF signaling pathways by upregulating the expression of HNF1A and MMP14, respectively, to inhibit the growth and metastasis of cervical cancer [47]. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and cervical cancer.
