Among others, both study cohorts showed significant differences in blood pressure (p < 0.001), comorbidities [coronary artery disease (p < 0.001), diabetes (p < 0.001), and atrial fibrillation (p < 0.001)], kidney function (creatinine; p < 0.001), and NT-proBNP (p < 0.001), which is however in line with the respective disease entity. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and coronary artery disorder.
