Other cancers with HYAL4 gene mutations included: colorectal, stomach, lung (adenocarcinoma, squamous), bladder, glioblastoma, leukaemia, head/neck, ovarian, breast and kidney (clear cell) cancers (∼0.25–1.8% prevalence) (Chi et al., 2012; Li et al., 2013; Lokeshwar et al., 2020; Hasanali et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene HYAL4 and cancer.
