Consistent with these observations, HIST1H1B protein expression also was significantly higher in breast cancer than in normal breast tissues, and in BLBC than other subtypes by proteogenomic analysis of multiple datasets (TCGA, Johansson’s and Tang’s) that contains 77, 45 and 63 breast tumor samples, respectively (Figures 1B, D). The gene discussed is H1-5; the disease is breast cancer.
