In contrast, although CD3ε-/- mice showed a rapid increase in LVPWd 2 weeks after TAC, LVDd was smaller in CD3ε-/- mice than in WT mice, and LVEF was maintained at high levels in CD3ε-/- mice compared with WT mice (Figures 1B–D), indicating that cardiac dilatation was suppressed and cardiac output was effectively maintained in CD3ε-/- mice.
