In this study, it was found from Figure 3 that after subcutaneous injection of NTG, the levels of NO, CGRP, SP, TNF-α and cGMP in rats increased, but emodin could significantly reduce the levels of NO, CGRP, SP, TNF-α and cGMP in rats, which showed that emodin has a potential anti-migraine activity. The gene discussed is TFF2; the disease is migraine disorder.
