Recent transcriptome analyses from the perspective of pathology and clinical pathways have suggested that OSBPL3 is expressed and involved in the development of cancers, including colorectal cancer (Xu et al., 2020; Chen et al., 2021), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (Li et al., 2017), recurrent glioblastoma (Erdem-Eraslan et al., 2016), and metastatic breast cancers (Lefebvre et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene OSBPL3 and cancer.
