We identified 2 case reports (15, 25) and 1/10 patients in a case series (20) with MOG antibody-associated myelitis in association with a VZV infection; in addition, there are 9 reports of AQP4 antibody-associated CNS disorders in patients with VZV infections (6–13, 20) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene AQP4 and myelitis.
