First, data from our group suggested a correlation between endothelial cell activation and CRS, manifested by elevated VWF and Ang‐2 and declined Ang‐1 concentrations in patients with CRS after CAR‐T cell therapy, which is consistent with a recent report by Hay et al.13Second, we found marked differences in soluble adhesive molecules not previously studied after CAR‐T cell therapy, such as intercellular adhesion molecule‐1 (ICAM‐1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule‐1 (VCAM‐1). This evidence concerns the gene VCAM1 and congenital rubella syndrome.
