Immunofluorescence assays showed that the positive staining degrees of NLRP3, caspase-1, GSDMD-N, and IL-1β in NAFLD mouse liver tissues were visibly high compared to those of the normal control group, indicating upregulation of NLRP3, caspase-1, and GSDMD expression (Figure 6(i)), and Man could reduce the positive staining levels (Figure 6(i)), indicating downregulation of those proteins, which was consistent with the western blot and RT-PCR results. This evidence concerns the gene GSDMD and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
