In medulloblastoma, WB and immunofluorescence analysis of γ-H2AX expression revealed increased protein expression in vitro and in ex vivo WB, and a higher number of γ-H2AX+ nuclear foci after 48h of treatment (Fig 3Panels A-D; Fig 4; S7 Fig; S8 FigPanel A; S9 FigPanel D), suggesting that the combination of DSF-Cu++ might induce DNA damage in tumor lines and in vivo. The gene discussed is H2AX; the disease is medulloblastoma.
