We further performed an immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis using a tissue microarray and found that high protein expression of SLAMF8 was associated with increased CD8+ T lymphocyte infiltration in both GC (n = 74) and CRC (n = 38) tissue samples and vice versa (Figure 3e for GC and g for CRC). Here, SLAMF8 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
