While a comparable frequency of about 30% Tregs were found close to normal CD34+ stem/progenitor cells and CD8+ CTLs in the healthy donor BM (Supplemental Figure 5, B–D), the majority of Tregs in BM of CML patients were close to CD8+ CTLs (58.44% ± 6.53%) but not CD34+ CML stem/progenitor cells (18.33% ± 3.87%) (Figure 8, F–H).
