The AUCs calculated from the ROC curves were 0.7350 (95% CI: 0.6118‐0.8582) for G‐CSF and 0.6431 (95% CI: 0.4938‐0.7888) for IL‐6, whereas other four cytokines failed to differentiate the two types of bacterial infections. This evidence concerns the gene CSF3 and bacterial infectious disease.
