Intensive induction of proinflammatory cytokines (IL8 and IL18), proinflammatory chemokines (CCL4, CXCL10, and CXCL11), and antimicrobial molecules, such as TRIM22, IFIT1, and IFI44L, was observed in macrophages infected with M. tuberculosis H37Rv compared with macrophages with no-infection bacteria (Figure 1(c)).
