DANCR and breast neoplasm: Sha et al. (2017) found that DANCR expression was increased in TNBC tissues compared with that in adjacent normal tissues. Patients with higher DANCR expression tended to have worse TNM stage and poorer overall survival (OS). Tao et al. (2019) also found that DANCR knockdown significantly suppressed cancer cell proliferation and invasion, while the opposite phenomena were observed when DANCR was overexpressed. Inhibition of DANCR expression also impaired the growth of breast tumors in vivo.
