Activation of the mTOR pathway can lead to lupus activity and recurrence, and sirolimus as an effective mTOR pathway inhibitor can effectively reduce disease activity, as shown in Table 2, at the end of 3 and 6 months of treatment, the sirolimus group showed a more significant decrease in SLEDAI than the traditional treatment group, and the anti-dsDNA positive rate was lower.
