Importantly, the demonstration that CK1α inhibition/silencing significantly causes a reduction of CARD11 phosphorylation and levels and that CK1α is present in the CBM1 complex, both at resting and at BCR-stimulated conditions (Figure 4), suggests that this kinase might regulate the IKK/NF-κB activation by sustaining the activity of CARD11, as shown in DLBCL (22).
