Recent studies have shown that the overexpression of ZNF322 is related to the oncogenesis of many tumors including lung cancer through a variety of mechanisms, such as directly suppressing the expression of c-Myc to promote cell stemness or up-regulating the transcription of α-adducin (ADD1) and cyclin D1 (CCND1) to promote tumor growth and metastasis (Jen et al., 2016; Jen et al., 2019; Liao et al., 2017; Williams et al., 2014). This evidence concerns the gene ADD1 and lung carcinoma.
