Correlation analyses among healthy controls revealed robust correlations between CHAST and CEBPA, NKILA and ADINR as well as between DILC and CHAST. Thus, the pattern and robustness of correlations were affected by the presence of PD, except for NKILA and ADINR genes which were robustly correlated in both groups of study participants. The gene discussed is NKILA; the disease is Parkinson disease.
