CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: Among the 22 RA patients who were treated for 6 months, most of the clinical indices were continuously and effectively improved over time compared to baseline in both the HQT and LEF groups (Figures 3B, S4 and Table S1), including disease activity score for 28 joints based on the C-reactive protein level (DAS28-CRP), morning stiffness duration (MS), joint tenderness score (JTS), joint swelling score (JSS), RPJ, visual analogue scale for disability (VAS-D), and visual analogue scale for pain (VAS-P).
