Recently, TYRO3 was reported to be overexpressed in various cancers with poor prognoses, such as leukemia, melanoma, thyroid cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and ovarian cancer (Lee-Sherick et al., 2013; Kim et al., 2015; Lee, 2015; Smart et al., 2018; Fernandez et al., 2019; Morimoto et al., 2020; Chen and Liu, 2021; Post et al., 2021). Here, TYRO3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
