With a meta-analysis conducted through a random-effects model, the pooled results show that elevated CRP is significantly associated with shortening of OS in patients with osteosarcoma (HR = 1.96, 95% CI: 1.28-3.00, P = 0.002; I2 = 60.0%, P = 0.028; Figure 2(b)). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is osteosarcoma.
