FABP7 and central nervous system cancer: In addition, electron microscopy analysis demonstrated that caveolae/caveosome formation was increased in FABP7wt overexpressed cells compared to control and FABP7mut overexpressed cells, but not increased in FABP7mut (Fig. 2K,L), suggesting FABP7 regulates caveolin‐1 expression as well as tumor activity through caveolae/caveosome function in glioma cells, and nuclear localization of FABP7 by appropriate function of lipid binding domain may be important in these phenominae.
