Consistent with in vitro results, the levels of acetyl‐CoA and ACLY activity were upregulated in FABP7wt compared to control, but not changed in FABP7mut (Fig. 6D,E), suggesting that the interaction between FABP7 and its ligands regulates caveolin‐1 expression through histone modification in brain tumors.
