An analysis of different genes in a cohort from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, which contained 18 prostate cancer tissues and 21 normal tissues, showed that the activity of transcription factor specificity protein 1 (SP1), which significantly upregulates the expression of ARHGAP26, was significantly upregulated in prostate cancer [6]. This evidence concerns the gene ARHGAP26 and prostate carcinoma.
